Anna is discusses how cold it is. She discusses an Agnes Grey who is a fine poet. Refers to Wagstaff sonnets. She handed in her article. A letter of appreciation came from Springfield. (Insa Coolbreth??) seems very sad. She is getting out his books. She wants to know about the Molois affair. Shewent to the bank and there is no trace of Horton Muller. She hasn't found the letters or check. Letter is incomplete an unsigned.

Became famous overnight with publication of "The Man with a Hoe," his protest against brutalization of labor, in "San Francisco Examiner" (January 15, 1899).
